Without this strategy, no community

Let's say you want to build a community, but you're no Mark Zuckerberg.

You have a group on Telegram with a few invited members,

Yet, activity there is quite low.

Conversations are sparse.

Your announcements barely get a few "likes."

The issue? You lack strategy.

Are you familiar with Metcalfe's Law?

It's a concept from the telecommunications sector, proven effective since the 1980s.

By adopting it, you can:

Boost engagement,

Forge strong bonds within your community,

Lay the groundwork needed to grow from 10 to 10,000 members,

Make managing your community more enjoyable.

Doesn't it remind you of a triangle?

Metcalfe's Law is articulated as:

V = N²

Where "V" represents the network's value and "N" the number of users or devices connected to it.

In essence, the more members of a network interact with each other, the stronger the network becomes.

This is exactly what propelled Facebook.

The company's guideline in 2007 was:

"Every new user should make 7 friends in 10 days."

Shortening this period reduced the chance that the user would leave Facebook for good.

This principle also applies to you.

The more you foster interactions within your community, the stronger its bonds become.

Based on Metcalfe's Law:

100 loosely interconnected individuals = 100

100 closely interconnected individuals = 10,000

To ponder.
